The Location

Silverton Mountain

The is the most insane on-piste experience you can have. It’s in SW Colorado, and it’s just dumb. I have ridden all over North America and this is the best day experience I have ever had. It’s backcountry skiing, with lovingly cared for powder, with limited number of people per day, serviced by a lift with hike-to terrain as well as heli access. Sublime!

DETAILS

  1. I have rented (as in paid for, legally secured) Silverton Mountain for an entire day - Tuesday Mar 4, 2025.

  2. Renting it means we get the whole mountain and all of the guides for ourselves. Us. Literally, just us. Our group limit will be around 50-75 people - so reserve your spot now.

  3. We also have secured a helicopter for the day - purchase one flight or up to 6 - your call. Throughout the day, the guides will get people from the base to their heli drop when it’s their turn. Super easy.

  4. You will forever have a story that starts with “so, this one time my friend rented out a while ass mountain…”

  5. This is a ridiculously epic event meant to bring together people in my extended network who should know each other.

How Big?

You can add heli rides now or you can add later, but earlier is better in case we do hit the theoretical limit of rides per day.

  • "Ready to do a little hiking to get the goods? If you’re up to the climb, you get the reward. At Silverton Mountain, you can expect to hike to different terrain zones after the lift brings you up to a saddle. The top of our lift is at 12,300′. Hiking distances vary depending on the zone, but a minimum of 5-10 minutes of hiking per lap is typical."
